That's What New Years Is For
I'm going to officially declare an Ointy hiatus until the New Year, when I will begin to get serious about weight loss and fitness again. I've been thinking of trying Pilates or taking dance classes, but I know that either way I've got to do something! I can't keep eating all the cheese and ending up ten million pounds, right?

I know what works: Weight Watchers meetings and exercise. So that's what 2006 holds for me, and I hope you'll stick around during this short fallow period when I am on vacation.

In the meantime, I'm still updating at Big Fat Deal frequently, so I hope I'll see you over there. As for the Ointyites, I'll see you next year!

Little Red Dress
My hot red dress from two Decembers ago, remember? I was at my lowest weight then. (And man, that's a hot picture.)

Anyway, there's a holiday party tonight and I got Ian to bring me the Hot Red Dress when he came to Chicago to meet me. (Because any excuse to wear the Hot Red Dress is a good excuse.) So then today was the fateful moment where I would try it on and see if it still looked Hot. Or fit.

I took the plunge and tried it on without any foundation garments, figuring that way if it looked bad, I still had hope, and if it looked good, it would look even better tonight!

I am thrilled to report that I looked awesome on the first try! It is a Hot dress. If only I had money to get a Hot Haircut to go along with it. But oh well, I will look Hot nevertheless.

Oh, and also, thanks to Fitness Magazine, people have been stumbling upon this site; in some cases, people I know. By which I mean, people who sit in front of me in a classroom several days a week. Aah!
